A group of very curious yellowish vanadinite hexagonal crystals disposed on a layer of botryoidal coronadite acicular aggregates which are covering the goethite vugs. Accompanied by small but defined mottramite crystals forming clusters partially covering vanadinite crystals. They show a honey to brown color and dipyramidal faces and skeletal growths. A nice sample to be enjoyed on the display and under the microscope. 2k2145
A very aesthetic group of stalactitic goethite-hematite growth showing a very aerial disposition from this classic Moroccan locality. We can observe reddish radiated growths in fractured stalactites on the matrix.
The Bou Azzer's Erythrite is usually found as flattened tabular crystals but sometimes we can enjoy these needle like Erythrite specimens showing spherical aggregates formed by thin tabular crystals with an intense pink to purple color and excellent brilliance. A really good specimen from this Moroccan cobalt mine.
