Tsumeb (Tsumcorp) mine, Nivel-Level 44, Tsumeb, Otjikoto, Namibia

Leiteite is a very interesting zinc arsenate, one of the preciated rare species for Tsumeb Mine, which is the type locality. This is a elongated foliated to fibrous with pearlescent sample, with some transparence to translucent. This specimen was collected early 80s on mine level 44. A superb and really large specimen of this very rare mineral. 6v3t52
