Very interesting specimen for its unusual chemistry, this is a hidrated calcium sulphite: CaSO3·H2O. The color is exceptional in this pyromorphite specimen from this German mine. On a sandstone matrix a layer of prismatic crystals and some more barrel-shaped. Two generations are observed distinguishable by color crystals. Brilliance and well defined faces and edges. A sample for pyromorphite collectors.
